Part 1 – Overview of the Biblical Jubilee Timeline and the Plan of God.
Isa46:9-10 9Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me. 10I declare the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come. I say, ‘My plan will take place, and I will do all My will.’
The beginning and the end (Genesis to Revelation). We measure the distance between these two points with time, creating a timeline from the beginning to the end. That means every event in the Bible, or history in general for that matter, falls somewhere in between. Everything that has happened and everything that will happen is time-stamped on the timeline. It’s kind of like watching the time-stamped footage from a crime scene surveillance camera to learn the timing and sequence of past events in order to solve the mystery. Except in the Bible, we are given the time-stamped footage of the sequence of events from the past AND the future in order to solve the mystery! That’s what Bible prophecy is: God revealing His “Plan” to us through Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the prophets, making us no longer slaves but friends as Jesus said.
John15:15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
Notice above in Isaiah 46:10 God says I declare the end from the beginning. The end was known from the beginning! We are told when major events will happen in the future because appointed times (Moedim in Hebrew) have already been time-stamped on the timeline from the beginning.
So, we have a couple mysteries to solve…. In order understand the plan and the will of God.
The word mystery in the Bible comes from the Greek word –
mystery (Strong’s Greek 3466) mystḗrion (the root of the English term, “mystery”) – mystery. In the Bible, a “mystery” (3466 /mystḗrion) is not something unknowable. Rather, it is what can only be known through revelation, i.e. because God reveals it.
Now let’s look at the evidence that God has revealed to us in the Bible with a broad overview of God’s Plan. Including the timeline of the sequence of events both past and future that fulfill it.
Gen1:1 1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
God’s plan is to create a kingdom in the heavens filled with spiritual beings like Him but not Him called Eloah (singular) and Elohim (plural) (angels, cherubim, sons of God, the host (army) of heaven etc…). With this heavenly kingdom He would create and oversee a kingdom on earth filled with mankind spiritual beings (Elohim), like Him but not Him and put in earthly bodies in a physical world on the earth. When this earthly kingdom has been fulfilled then God will come down to the earth and rule over the kingdom of men. This is the end goal of God’s plan for Him to dwell on the earth with a chosen group of people. The completion of this plan is the “will” of God. Notice the will of God is the first thing Jesus tells us to pray for. The rest of the Lord’s prayer is about what to pray for until it’s completed.
Mat6:9-13 9So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. 10Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13And lead us not to the time of testing but deliver us from the evil one.’
Zech2:10 10“Shout for joy and be glad, O Daughter of Zion, for I am coming to dwell among you,” declares the LORD.
Exodus19:5Now therefore, if you will in fact obey My voice and keep My covenant (agreement), then you shall be My own special possession and treasure from among all peoples [of the world], for all the earth is Mine; 6and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation [set apart for My purpose].’ These are the words that you shall speak to the Israelites.”
Rev21:3-4 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
That’s about as broad of an overview as I can come up with but that’s God’s plan! If we keep His plan in mind the scriptures and the events that happen in them will be less random and more purposeful as I’d like to show you. The plan sounds pretty simple but like all plans the devil is in the details! It’s these events and details that we need to look at to gain a better understanding of how God is bringing His plan to fulfillment.
But first let’s look at time and the measurement of it. The Oxford dictionary defines “Time as the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole” Notice they use the word Indefinite meaning lasting for a period of time that has no fixed end; however, the scriptures tell us the end was fixed from the beginning meaning it is Finite-having a definite limit. This creates two different mindsets. To me indefinite follows more in line with the theory of evolution: that the world has been around for millions of years and will continue for millions of years. Everything is random, lacking a definite plan, purpose, or pattern. But finite is purpose driven. It has a plan, a design, and a pattern. Let’s look at the pattern of time, the units (intervals), that God established in the beginning.
We have the basic units (intervals) of time, meaning seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years. Like we still do today, the Romans grouped years together by 10s (Decem in Latin) while the Israelites were told by God to group years together by 7s (Sheba/Shabua in Hebrew). Below is a chart comparing the two.

The Roman Empire’s intervals of 10-years are pretty straight forward. So, let’s look into the scriptures to better understand God’s 7-year intervals and 49-year cycles.
The Shabua/Week is the pattern of time – 7’s.
A Shabua (Hebrew) is a Week (English)….7 days, weeks, years, millennia. But it’s not just a set of 7’s but 6 + 1 special day, week, year, millennia of rest called the Sabbath.
God could have created everything instantly but He chose to do it in a week.
Week of 24-Hour days – 7 days.
Gen2:1-3 1Thus the heavens and the earth were completed (in six days), and all their hosts. 2By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Week of Years – 7 years = 1 Sabbath year.
Lev25:1-4 The Lord said to Moses at Mount Sinai, 2“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land, I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord. 3For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops. 4But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord.
Week of Weeks of Years – 7 Sabbath years = 49 years = 1 Jubilee Cycle.
Lev25:8-12 8Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9Then sound the ram’s horn everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the horn throughout your land.
Week of Millennial Days – 7,000 years the fullness of time.
2Peter3:8-9 8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Psalm90:4 4A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
The Millennial Sabbath Day – the 1,000-year reign/rest of Jesus Christ.
Rev20:4-6 4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
So, if a day is like a 1,000 years and 7 days are like 7,000 years in the sight of God. Then one millennial week would be the fullness of time the completion of God’s plan. The end of time and the beginning of eternity
Mankind works for 6 millennial days (~6,000yrs) and then rests (believers will rest and reign) with Jesus for 1 millennial day (~1,000yrs)

The Jubilee Cycle – 7 x 7 Sabbath years = 49 years = 1 Jubilee cycle.
The Israelites are told to 8Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9Then sound the ram’s horn everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the horn throughout your land. 10Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. 11The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. 12For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields. Lev25:8-12
The Jubilee (English) is Yovel (Hebrew) shofar (Jewish) in the Old Testament and trumpet (Greek) in the New Testament. Definition: a ram’s horn (as a wind instrument)

Blown on the 49th year on the 10th day of the 7th month (~September) to consecrate the 50th year.

Notice the 49th year starts on the 1st day of the 1st month (~March) and the Shofar is blown on the Day of Atonement of the 49th year on the 10th day of the 7th month (~September). This means the 50th year starts in the middle of the 49th year and ends in the middle of the 1st year of the next jubilee cycle. The Jubilee year (the 50th year) overlaps the 49thand the 1st year of the next jubilee cycle by 6 months creating a 50th years in a 49-year cycle. (See chart below)

But when counting years, the 50th year is also the 1st year of the next cycle.

Determining a Jubilee year (49years x Jubilee cycle number) + 1 = Jubilee year
(49 x 1 = 49) + 1 = 50 (49 x 2 = 98) + 1 = 99 (49 x 3 = 147) + 1 = 148
If the Jubilee timeline is the timeline of the Bible, it’s a 49-year cycle not a 50-year cycle.
Most people have made the jubilee cycle a 50-year cycle.
50yrs x 80cycles = 4,000yrs 1st coming of Jesus
50yrs x 120cycles = 6,000yrs 2nd coming of Jesus
50yrs x 140cyles = 7,000yrs fullness of time

This is why people (including me) were expecting Jesus to return in the year 6000AM (2000AD). It adds up nicely, but it’s not right because it’s a 49-year cycle. The Romans counted years by 10s, but God told the Israelites to count years by 7s.

Here is the true Jubilee Timeline 😉 as a day is “like” 1,000 years. The word like makes reference to similarity or equality, in such expressions as εἶναι ὡς τινα, i. e. ‘to be like’ or ‘equal to’ one.

As 1,000 is not divisible by 49 the millennial days alternate between 980 and 1,029 years (20 and 21 jubilee cycles). Two days added together create an Age that equals 2,009 years (41 jubilee cycles) except the final Sabbath Age of 1 millennial day of 980 years (20 jubilee cycles). Overall, the average is 1,001 years per millennial day. (7,007 / 7 = 1,001)

The Shabua\Week – is God’s pattern for the fullness of time – 7 millennial days – 7007 years.
A week of 7 millennial days. 7,007 years divided by 49 = 143 jubilee cycles (143×49=7,007) This is the completion of time and the end of the week.
The 143rd jubilee cycle will end on the Day of Atonement in the year 7007AM. The ram’s horn will sound starting the jubilee year of 7008AM. This will be the 144th jubilee. The final jubilee year which is the beginning of Eternity. It’s when the 144,000 (12,000 x 12 tribes) sealed in the book of Revelation are to dwell with God and Jesus in the New Jerusalem that is 12,000 stadia wide x 12,000 stadia long = 144,000,000 square stadia and its walls are 144 cubits thick/high. (Rev21)
Who are the 144,000? What is the New Jerusalem and the Day of Atonement? The answers to these questions are coming in later chapters.
After the millennial week we have the 8th day.
The 8th Day – the start of a new week – a new beginning – eternity.
The 8th day is similar to the 50th day as it starts the new Jubilee cycle the 8th day starts the new week.
The number 7(Zayin) in the Bible has to do with completion. As in 7 24-hour days complete a week and 7 millennial days complete time.
As 7 is the number for completion then it makes sense that the number 8(Chet) has to do with new beginnings…. a new cycle, new week, new world, new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem.
The covenant of circumcision occurs on the 8th day of a boy’s life, marking a new beginning of his life.
8 souls were saved through the flood in an ark for a new beginning.
Sukkot is the 7th and last feast of the year, a 7day feast that anticipates the coming 8th day called in Hebrew “Olam Habah” the world to come a new beginning.
Number 8 on its side is the symbol for infinity. (Called the lazy eight ∞)

So, if Jesus returns at the end of 6 millennial days (~6,000yr) to take us to the 7th day (~1,000yr) of sabbath rest on a jubilee year. What jubilee cycle ends just after the year 6000AM?
123 jubilee cycles x 49years = 6027AM. On the Day of Atonement in the year 6027AM the ram’s horn will sound. This will be the beginning of the jubilee year (50th year) 6028AM. It will also be the sound of this horn/trumpet blast that initiates the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ. It will be the 124th jubilee and the start of the 7th millennial day. The 1,000-year reign of Jesus (Rev 20:4).
Jesus returns on the Day of Atonement at the blast of the ram’s horn – on a jubilee year.
1Thes4:15 By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.
Psa98:6 With trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn shout for joy before the LORD, the King. 7Let the sea thunder and all that fills it, the world, and all who dwell in it. 8Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy 9before the LORD, for He comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity.
Mat24:30 At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Jesus returns – at the end of the Age.
Mat13:36-43 36Then Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” 37He replied, “The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man (Jesus). 38The field is the world, and the good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. 40As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41The Son of Man (Jesus) will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness. 42And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
Last but not least the third day.
The 3rd Day – The return of Christ in the millennial week.
Exodus19:10-11 10Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. They must wash their clothes 11and be prepared by the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.
Num19:19-20 19The man who is ceremonially clean is to sprinkle the unclean person on the third day and on the seventh day.
Hos6:1-3 1Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds. 2After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.
Mat17:22-23 22When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men. 23They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were deeply grieved.
Act10:40-41 40God raised Him up on the third day and caused Him to be seen 41not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
Remember! A day is like a thousand years. Jesus was born (3998AM) at the end of the 4th millennial day. He was crucified (4033AM) at the start of the 5th millennial day. Just like Jesus spent 2 (24 hour) days in the tomb and was then raised up on the 3rd (24 hour) day, He will now spend 2 (millennial) days in heaven and then return to raise us up on the start of the 3rd/7th (millennial) day.

Now that you have seen the overview of the Jubilee Timeline let’s add the events and details of God’s plan starting with Part 2 the Age of the Fathers – Adam to Abraham
